Jeff Gallagher, father, businessman, community pillar and Irish patriot died at age 46 on Wednesday 18th of September, dearly missed by friends and family. He is survived by his mother, 2 sisters, wife and 2 children.

Jeff came from humble beginnings, which is part of what propelled him on to become the man he was. He moved to Artane at age 10, his main childhood home. Jeff opened a DIY business in Finglas which became very successful and he made a very decent life for himself. He then got married and moved to Hollystown where he fathered two children.

Jeff was very spiritual in nature, he saw the flooding of Ireland with foreign peoples as a direct attack on who we were as a race. It wasn’t immigration in his mind, it was a deliberate invasion by darker forces to destroy the culture and strength we have as a nation. This was his philosophy and it spurred him to protect his children’s future.

His role in Irish nationalism was self sacrificing in nature as he was a wealthy man with everything to lose. He could have had a very comfortable care-free life for himself if he kept his mouth shut about what was happening to his country. But he chose different.

Jeff was steadfast in supporting Irish people pushing back against the invasion of their country. He was on the ground in the thick of things at protests in East Wall, Coolock, and Finglas just to name a few. He ran a very respectable campaign in the most recent local election and his transfers helped get Gavin Pepper across the line. Jeff worked to focus attention back on the welfare of the children affected by the stabbings at Parnell Square after government and media aimed to distract and redirect the narrative on the riots that followed.

Jeff attended the national mobilisation at the customs house and addressed a crowd of thousands of Irishmen and women.

“Well Patriots, we’re at war! It’s not a cold war, it’s not a military war, it’s a war of attrition. They are trying to wear us down. At this stage of the game they are trying everything. Get them out!”

This was followed by cheers and chants of “Get Them Out!” that echoed all over Dublin city centre.

Jeff Gallagher was respected in his local community and his name is held in high regard by all his peers. It is without doubt they will sorely feel his loss. Jeff dedicated the final year of his life to the cause of Irish freedom without waver despite his illness. For this we owe him our gratitude and may the foundations he built serve to benefit the Irish for years to come.

Jeff’s funeral is at 10am Saturday morning 21st of September at the Church of the Nativity of Our Lord in Artane. Large numbers are expected to attend.

From all here at the Burkean, we would like thank Jeff Gallagher for his service to Ireland’s cause and to offer our condolences to his friends and family.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam dílis. Requiescat in Pace.

  4. A great loss. Tá sé ar slí na fírinne anois.

Mobile phones, and mobile phone masts, are capable of emitting microwave radiation which can cause a range of symptoms, including death. For those who “need” a mobile phone, perhaps you should consider keeping the phone in a metal box when not actually in use. An EMF meter will allow you to identify public areas which have dangerously high levels of microwave radiation.
